The 1.1M CHEDDA Car

Boise Idaho resident Kasey Rienstra missed out on the CHEDDA launch and had serious FOMO (fear of missing out). His friends kept trying to get him to buy but he never pulled the trigger.

Kasey also had a 1992 Honda Civic for sale. A Mutual friend, Charles Acevedo. AKA Chuck, was an early CHEDDA purchaser and was in need of a new car, so Chuck offered to buy the 92’ Civic with CHEDDA. The negotiating started at 1.5M CHEDDA, around $3500 at the time. After some haggling, the two settled on a deal of 1.1M Chedda to be sent to Kasey for the purchase of the Honda Civic. That’s roughly $3000 worth.
